Joseph Marin
Senior Prepress Technologist/Instructor
Joe Marin is the senior prepress instructor at PIA/GATF.
Marin specializes in prepress and prepress instruction
and leads several PIA/GATF training programs, including
Orientation to the Graphic Arts and Advanced PDF for Print
and Beyond. He also contributes to other PIA/GATF training
programs such as Sheetfed Offset Press Operating, Web
Offset Press Operating, and Process Controls Boot Camp.
Marin also conducts seminars at leading trade shows
including Print and GraphExpo and performs technical
consultations for commercial and in-plant printers. |

Tracey Ryan
Art Director
Tracey brings an uncommon skill set to her design work,
having previously been a photojournalist, prepress technician,
color separator, and output specialist, prior to joining PIA/GATF
as a full-time graphic designer. In addition to her design
responsibilities, which encompass publications, direct mail,
and catalogs, she is an instructor on the designer’s arsenal
of software for such programs as PIA/GATF’s Orientation to
the Graphic Arts workshop. An AIGA member and frequent
HOW conference attendee, Tracey stays in pace with new
design and production trends. |
